Summary
This campaign introduced Virgin Australia's expanded international network through a new global partnership with Qatar Airways. More than a route update, it marked a return to long-haul travel with renewed ambition and a strong signal of the brand’s forward momentum.
Visually, the creative drew from Virgin's established brand direction, bringing together both aircrafts above the clouds in a shared horizon. The pink-hued sky and subtle gradients served as a quiet connection to existing brand campaigns, while giving the announcement its own elevated tone. With limited customer awareness at launch, the campaign needed to work across awareness and conversion. Destination messaging and fare-led moments were layered into a media mix to balanced reach with relevance, delivering clarity and optimism at every stage.
